sitelen pona Pakapa

The sitelen pona Pakapa are a set of handwriting-style sitelen pona images for fediverse instances and other custom-emoji contexts. All images are 128 pixel square and outlined for contrast with any background - both the light-mode and dark-mode images should remain legible scaled to sizes as small as 16 pixels square. Designs are mostly based on those in lipu pu and on the physical referents of the symbols, with some allowances for legibility.

Currently available in this set:

• everything in lipu pu
• one toki pona combined glyph
• tonsi, kin, monsuta, ku, kijetesantakalu, n, oko, eliki
• one calligraphy and two box-dot versions of sewi
• circle-with-x-eyes and underline-with-x-eyes versions of moli
• plus-shaped and pepper-shaped versions of namako
• soko characters with wide, single-line, and line-with-annulus stems
• long a and long n characters (aaa.png and nnn.png)
• cartouche and cartouche_end characters for marking off proper words
• quote and quote_end characters for marking off quotations
• middot and colon characters for separating sentences

(For each glyph with variants, the _x version is the most standard.)

Please let us know about any words you want us to add to the set, either here on itch.io or through our gmail account at robin dot zimm (put "sitelen pona" in the subject line). We don't know what words people commonly use - when putting together our initial set, we were basically guessing - and our goal is to support people writing in toki pona.

This set or parts thereof may be used in any community so long as it maintains the following two conditions: it must have effective moderation against ableism, racism, transmisia, and so forth, including against polite just-asking-questions and just-raising-concerns bigotry and against meme and ironic bigotry (TERFs, Nazis, and channers fuck off); and it must include attribution somewhere appropriate, including our name ("the Packbats") and a link to a website like this one where we currently host the set (if extant).
